Two firms sign global framework agreement for real estate advice
Jones Lang LaSalle announce they have signed a global framework agreement to provide corporate real estates services including advice on searches, negotiations, renegotiations, disposals, valuations, sales and acquisitions to Volvo Cars Corporation (VCC).
Marie Cronström, Head of Corporate Solutions, Jones Lang LaSalle Sweden commented:
“The Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Solutions team in Sweden have been working closely with Volvo Cars Corporation for the past eighteen months. We are proud to build on the existing relationship between our companies and look forward to working closely together to improve VCC's existing property portfolio, including leased and owned properties around the world.”
Vincent Lottefier, Chief Executive, EMEA Corporate Solutions at Jones Lang LaSalle added:
"I am delighted that we were selected by Volvo Cars Corporation to provide a range of real estate services on a global basis. It is a constant challenge for large corporates to review and manage their real estate portfolio to make sure all aspects of it fit with their business strategy. These types of agreement where clients appoint one outsourced provider across a range of services is becoming increasingly common. Working with one brand enables clients quick access to a range of specialists under one roof. This in turn can generate economies of scale and strong relationships which is essential when the world’s economies and markets are evolving at pace.”
In Europe, Jones Lang LaSalle and VCC are currently working on real estate projects across Belgium, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Further projects are also underway across North America and Japan, with additional projects to follow across the globe over the course of 2012.
