Helping Adventist Health during COVID-19

JLL’s teams step up for a healthcare client during this critical time.

April 23, 2020

As Adventist Health — an integrated health system with clinics and hospitals across the West Coast and Hawaii — fights the coronavirus pandemic, JLL continues to support them.

At Adventist Health Lodi Memorial in California, JLL Facility Director Chuck Peek and his team built a COVID-19 triage tent in under three days, complete with 16 patient bays, HEPA air filtration, heating, cooling, supply tents, and a nursing station. This has become a family affair for the Peeks — while Chuck helps Adventist Health address the crisis, his daughter Amanda volunteers, distributing hand sanitizer to local hospitals. Chuck’s colleagues have nicknamed them, “Battle Buddies.”

Over at Adventist Health St. Helena in Deer Park, California, JLL Engineering Services Specialist Craig Fisher, who's worked at the hospital for over 40 years, used his unique carpentry skills to fulfill multiple requests to build custom protection barriers at various departments within the hospital.

“We’re proud to be able to support Adventist Health, our healthcare heroes, patients and communities,” said Marlon Wenstrom, JLL’s Executive Director, Account Management. “It’s times like these that demonstrate how important our Adventist Health one-team mentality truly is.”
