JLL double advisor to BentallGreenOak on acquisition of logistics property in Malmö
BentallGreenOak, a global property investor, has acquired a logistics property in Norra Hamnen in Malmö. The property is newly built and comprises approximately 20,000 square metres of warehouse with accompanying offices. The seller is Genesta Property Nordic. JLL has been advisor to BentallGreenOak for the transaction, which is the company’s first property acquisition in Sweden. JLL has also served as financial advisor to BentallGreenOak.
The property, which is a modern warehouse and logistics property called “Kubiklager” – a concept for modern, flexible logistics – is located in the Norra Hamnen district of Malmö. Norra Hamnen is an expansive development area close to the city that is designated for logistics.
